Mohammad Ali square is the most famous, influential and historical square in Alexandria in Egypt. It has seen radical events, it was a place for the consuls living there with their families, it was an important place after that for commercial activities, revolution, and historical speeches.
Project determines:
1- First part:
1-1 The location of the Square.
1-2 Historical background.
1-3 Uses, height and situations of the buildings.
2- Second part:
2-1 Vision and mission.
2-2 Site, perspectives, and sections of the existing circumstances of the square.
2-3 Beginning of a new proposal.
3- Third part:
3-1 New plan for the square (zoning, transportation, and reuses)
3-2 Proposal for the menasce building as an example for the rest of the buildings on the plaza.
